Wow, do our guests love to blog!
We have received another glowing review from The Chaotic Scot blog and are over the moon with how much people love it. Kay (The Chaotic Scot) stayed with us last September so some things have changed like the bed-nook and star-gazing window have been added. "Just a few winding country roads, sunshine coloured fields, and a rather narrow stone bridge away from Dunblane, sits Craighead Farm. This lovely stretch of land is home to a choice of three attractive accommodations, including the Summer Howf. What sets this wee felly apart from the others is its summery, compact cuteness, wrapped in a parcel of meticulously maintained gardens, giving visitors the gift of serenity and seclusion." Read her full review here! We just received another lovely thanks from our guests that stayed in the Summer Howf at the end of June. I cannot tell you how great it is to hear that our guests enjoyed their stay - it really means a lot. Thank you!
'What a magical place to spend our Mini Moon... normally we camp under canvas so we enjoyed our glamping experience. attention to detail in the Summer House was faultless, every little nook and cranny is utilised. Lying on the bed looking out of the window was almost surreal. The Wash Howf music is a genious touch, the wee honesty shop fantastic and loved the toy till. The Hammer toilet role holder is another delight. every day we spotted something else - today the seal head popping out of the water at the bridge! The sun came out we lit our BBQ and it was a joy. The ducks, hens cockerals and Rheas - turkeys and guineafowl were the most brilliant neighbors. The animals were all fantastic, fell in love with Jason and Spot the donkeys, Sky and Kitty kept us from missing our cats too much. Ian and Heather are excellent hosts and this is a magical place,we hope to return. ps The Eggs - how could I forget the gorgeous eggs!! Merle and Rob Edinburgh June 28th 2015. Heather and I really enjoy when our guests love their stay. Having built the howfs it is great when it all comes together and people love the idea behind them.
One of our guests, Alex, recently stayed in the Summer Howf and wrote a very complimentary blog post on her stay. We are thrilled she enjoyed it and her photography is great! Below are a few snaps she took and you can read the full blog post and see more photos on her blog Clouds in a Violet Haze. |
