Ash Tree Howf is fully self-contained and thoughtfully designed for cosy countryside stays throughout the seasons. Inside, guests will find a handcrafted king size bed beneath a large star-gazing window, a wood-burning stove with glass door, and a warm, welcoming interior filled with natural timber and handcrafted touches.
The kitchenette includes a two-ring gas hob, oven, fridge, crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans, making it easy to enjoy relaxed meals while surrounded by nature. Meanwhile, the integral hot shower and wash hand basin provide added comfort throughout your stay.

Outside, the viewing platform offers spectacular countryside views and a peaceful place to enjoy morning coffee or evenings beneath the stars. The downstairs eco-friendly compost toilet sits privately beneath the treehouse and includes lighting and its own wash hand basin.
Meanwhile, the fire pit and BBQ area offer the perfect place to relax outdoors while taking in the peaceful atmosphere surrounding the treehouse.

- Huge star gazing window above the bed – please note there is no blind – do bring a sleep mask if the light is likely to trouble you.
- Wood burning stove with glass door so you can watch the flames.

- Luxurious integral hot shower with adjacent wash hand basin -(In freezing conditions if water is off you have the full use of the facilities within the Wash Howf) Please note the minimal electricity in the Tree Howf can not cope with hair dryers so one is provided in the Wash Howf.

Pricing
£245 per night, with a minimum stay of two nights.
The wood-fired hot tub is available as an optional extra at £35 per night, with a minimum two-night booking. If you would like to add the hot tub to your stay, please contact us once your booking is confirmed to arrange this.
The hot tub is heated using a traditional wood-fired system and requires time and care to prepare. It is checked daily, and drained, cleaned and refilled between each stay to ensure a fresh experience for every guest.

Important Note
In the event of weather conditions that could cause frozen pipes, the water supply may be turned off. However, alternative facilities will be available in the Wash Howf, while the loo at the Howf will remain in use.

What to Bring for Your Treehouse Adventure
To make the most of your stay at Ash Tree Howf, we recommend bringing a few essentials. Slippers are perfect for cosy evenings indoors, while a torch is useful for moving around after dark. If you’re sensitive to light, a sleep mask is also recommended due to the large star-gazing window above the bed.
Don’t forget a camera to capture the beautiful scenery and wildlife during your stay. You’ll also want to bring food and drinks to enjoy in the comfort of your treehouse, and perhaps a bottle of bubbly for an extra special evening beneath the stars.

Ash Tree Howf is an adult-only retreat designed for peace, tranquillity, and uninterrupted relaxation. To help protect our resident animals and wildlife, pets are not permitted.
However, we understand that assistance dogs provide essential support. Please contact us before booking and we’ll always do our best to accommodate your needs wherever possible.

Check-in is available from 3 pm, with check-out by 10 am. If you know your estimated arrival time, please include it in the comments box when completing your booking, as this helps us prepare for your stay.
