Whisky Howf
Ian's latest Howf creation - the Whisky Howf.
This beautiful and quirky squint roofed cottage is nestled at the side of the little lochan on Craighead Farm. With its bulging walls, sagging roof and a wonderful Scottish Oak Cruck frame, it's as though it has been here for centuries. Surrounded, by wildlife and our many animals, while away the hours watching over the lochan waiting for swallows to dip, fish jump and frogs to call. Red kite will pay you a visit along with many other wildlife friends. When dusk descends light the fire pit and put something on the BBQ and star gaze. Retire in to your Cruck cottage with its oh so quirky interior to sit and watch the flames of the log burning stove and enjoy a dram - after all it is the Whisky Howf! The Whisky Howf is open longer than the other Howfs, for a winter break please contact us by email for availability and to book, you can also spend Christmas and New Year here too! |
