Spring Update

8/4/2016

Lots of things have been happening of late around Craighead. The Tree Howf is still on track to open on the 20th May as we have finished the main structure outside but still have quirky work to do on the bridge and on the interior. We have even picked the shower!

Although the Tree Howf is our main focus right now we have taken a bit of time out from the Tree Howf to give the Wee Howf a spring makeover and it is looking great. We are in the midst of putting in a new fire pit/BBQ and a spit roast that guests will be able to use.

We also have plans to build the 'Wee Wee Howf' - yup you might have guessed - it is to be a compost toilet down at the Wee Howf!

The Summer Howf is being prepared and opened this weekend as the garden is starting open up and the birds are certainly out and about - the Rhea and Guinea Fowl certainly know it's spring.

Today we also had a new arrival a tiny single soay lamb - expecting one or two more in the next couple of days.
